职位描述/要求：
The role is working as an pre-sales System Engineer providing direct support t
o sales team focused on the Mid-Market to Medium Enterprise account space.   

Excellent technical skills combined with a working knowledge of Cisco Advanced
 Technologies. 
The ability to influence and sell both remotely by telephone or Web collaborat
ion tools, also through face to face meetings and solution demonstrations. 
Good fluency in business English.
 

Responsibilities include: 
1.Provide desk-based support to pre-sales account management teams. 

2.Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services 

3.Provide technical and sales support for accounts in assigned territory 

4.Perform technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects either
 onsite at Cisco or through Placeware 

5.Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned
 opportunities 

6.Actively participate as a specialist on assigned Virtual Team and provides c
onsultative support in their area of specialization to other Systems Engineers
 

7.Must identify area of specialization 

8.Provide regular Team Training 

9.Actively probe customers for technical needs on sales opportunities 

10.Mentor and provide training for new members of Presales SE Organization 

11.Provide technical, sales and training support for Inside Sales, worldwide (
as required) 

Qualification
1.2+ years-related experience. 

2.Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings 
in technology area of emphasis required. 

3.Pre-Sales experience required. Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalen
t.CCNP & CCDP Certification Required.

4.Multi-lingual ideally.  Must have English with good business working fluency
. 

5.Knowledge of the IT industry working with account managers  

6.Knowledge of routing and routed protocol and internet solutions 

7.Knowledge of LAN, WAN, remote access, wireless and switched network solution
s. 

8.Ability to understand technical issues and apply technology and products to 
a business opportunity.

s, and exhibit a high level of integrity. 

2.Ability to learn quickly and absorb new technology knowledge. 

3.Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentati

5.Knowledge of baseline SE skills and knowledge in one area of specialization 


6.Knowledge and demonstrated operating experience in one of the following area
's of specialization: VPN's, Security, QoS, Remote/Local Access, IBM, Multi-Se
rvice (Voice and Video), Campus/MAN, WAN, Optical Networking, Transmission Sys
tems or Wireless (relevant to assignment).
